The game's storyline follows the protagonist Yejin and his sister Li, who trained under the Wanfa sect of martial arts 10 years ago. The game features Yejin attempting to rescue his sister, who has been taken hostage, while also fulfilling his responsibilities to others and saving the devastated world.

It features an extremely flexible combat system, and unique approaches to challenges by utilizing bloodthirsty attacks, assassinations, flying weapons, and more. Overall, the game circulates around survival; thus, you have to be extra competitive and careful when engaging in combat.

Interesting features aside, the game has a very mature and violent nature, so those with a weak heart have to be extra cautious when playing. It's also equipped with unique and realistic 3D graphics, so some scenes can come out too gory for some. You can also encounter a lot of scenes with varieties of violent activities and blood splattering.

Improvements to DLC

Bloody Spell’s most recent patch doesn’t focus on gameplay or any of the hard-hitting aspects. Instead, it concentrates on cosmetic improvements, most particularly on the Succubus skin, one of the game’s extra downloadable content. Updates include minor modifications to the skin’s appearance, such as an increased blink effect when the avatar is moving, added black smoke on the wings, a change in underwear color, added charm pattern and lace gloves, and a change in the style of the horns.
